In the late summer of 2008, the Thirsty Perch Blues Band solidified their lineup and built their foundation as a powerhouse rockin blues band that can best be described as a howling hurricane of a five piece ensemble.
Their truly diverse musical influences are the driving force behind a proprietary sound that simply can`t be matched by your average blues band on the local scene. From the very first song of the opening set, you know exactly what your in for as they create a continuous wave of energy.
Mixing a fabulous collection of Perch originals with classic covers from the likes of The Rollind Stones,Ronnie Baker Brooks,Bob Dylan,Tommy Castro,Delta Highway,Muddy Waters, Paul Butterfield, Coco Montoya, Walter Trout, and Cream are what truly set the Thirsty Perch apart from thier peers.
To thier credit they have already compiled an impressive resume of blues clubs and high profile events ..... the momentum continues to build with each new booking.
Check out their new cd  MEET THE THIRSTY PERCH BLUES BAND, it was completed in May 2009 and includes eleven tracks consisting of nine originals and two cover songs.
